The Masonic Temple in Philadelphia will be conducting a limited series of tours focused around the Temple’s magnificent art collection. The first set of art-themed tours will highlight our wonderful collection of William Rush sculpture. William Rush is considered America’s first major sculptor. The Masonic Temple in Philadelphia has seven statues by Rush – Faith, Hope, Charity, Silence, Virtue and two cherubim – which were all commissioned by the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania’s Building Committee.
