The Masonic Temple in Philadelphia will be conducting a limited series of tours focused around the Temple’s magnificent art collection. The first set of art-themed tours will highlight our wonderful collection of William Rush sculpture. William Rush is considered America’s first major sculptor. The Masonic Temple in Philadelphia has seven statues by Rush – Faith, Hope, Charity, Silence, Virtue and two cherubim – which were all commissioned by the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania’s Building Committee.
In light of the regulations from the city of Philadelphia, admittance to the Masonic Temple, Library and Museum of Pennsylvania will require a vaccination card or a photo of the same for access to the building. Children five years old and under can be admitted with proof of a negative COVID test taken within 24 hours of coming on site.
